Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking an Aircraft Inspector IV to lead inspection teams across multiple sites, develop inspection protocols, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to process improvements. The role includes mentoring junior inspectors and conducting audits of maintenance processes.

Qualified candidates have a current FAA A&P certificate, 5+ years in aircraft inspection, strong documentation skills, and willingness to deploy internationally and domestically on extended

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of aircraft inspection experience.
• Understanding of inspection standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to document findings accurately and timely.
• Willingness to deploy domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex aircraft inspections at assigned sites.
• Develop and implement inspection protocols and processes.
• Ensure accurate, detailed documentation of findings and actions.
• Address and resolve significant compliance issues.
• Lead training and mentorship for junior inspectors; conduct audits of maintenance processes.
