Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking an experienced inspector to provide expert oversight of all inspection activities and serve as a subject matter expert for complex compliance issues. The role leads continuous improvement initiatives and ensures complete documentation of inspections.

You will mentor inspectors, develop advanced inspection protocols, and work across varied locations, including potential DoD/CONUS engagements. Must have FAA A&P certification and extensive aircraft knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Higher degree may substitute for experience.
• Active FAA A&P certification required.
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft and systems.
• Experience with inspection processes and procedures.
• Proficient MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all inspection activities.
• Act as SME for complex compliance issues.
• Lead continuous improvement of inspection processes.
