Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking an experienced Aircraft Inspector IV in the United States. You will lead inspection teams, oversee complex inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance and safety.

The role involves developing inspection protocols and driving process improvements across programs. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of inspection experience, an active FAA A&P certification, and strong knowledge of aircraft systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in aircraft inspection.
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Active FAA A&P certification required.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and airworthiness inspection methods.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex aircraft inspections.
• Develop and implement inspection protocols.
• Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of findings.
• Address and resolve significant compliance issues.
• Lead training and mentorship programs for junior inspectors.
• Conduct periodic audits of maintenance processes.
