Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking a skilled electrical design engineer to create and modify interior aircraft electrical solutions, including wire routing, harnesses, and equipment installations. You will ensure fit, form, and function align with customer criteria, FAA requirements, and project schedules using CAD tools.

The role requires experience with AutoCAD and Inventor, strong drafting skills, and collaboration with DERs, UMs, and other regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical required; 8+ years experience preferred.
• Strong CAD skills including 3D design and drafting.
• Experience ensuring designs meet FAA requirements and customer criteria.
• Ability to read and interpret specs, BOMs, and fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical installation designs for aircraft interiors, including wire routing and equipment installations.
• Prepare drawing lists for project level STCs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensure designs meet customer criteria, quality standards and FAA requirements.
• Lead liaison with DERs, UMs, and FAA regulatory bodies as needed.
• Interface with cross‑functional teams to resolve build and installation issues.
• Adhere to budget and project schedules and support continuous improvement.
