Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking an experienced electrical design engineer to create and modify interior electrical solutions, including wire routing, harnesses, and equipment installs, using CAD tools to ensure Fit, Form and Function per customer criteria, quality standards, FAA requirements, and project budgets.

You will collaborate with DERs and FAA bodies, prepare installation drawings and BOMs, and guide cross-functional teams across Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing and Certification to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical; 8+ years relevant experience.
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor for 3D electrical design.
Ability to check drawings for Fit, Form and Function.
Experience with FAA regulations and DER/UM interactions.
Cross-functional collaboration with Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing and Certification.

Responsibilities

Create electrical installation designs for aircraft interiors using CAD tools.
Prepare drawing lists for project-level STC.
Ensure designs meet FAA requirements and customer criteria.
Interface with DERs and FAA for regulatory compliance.
Provide guidance to engineering and liaison support to resolve build issues.
Collaborate with Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing, Certification.
