Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Senior Analyst – Configuration Management to implement and maintain procedures ensuring the accuracy of aircraft configuration data per FAA, GMM, and policy guidance. You will oversee mainframe forecasts, maintain records, and support airline operations with on‑call availability.

Responsibilities include resolving discrepancies, communicating technical data, and driving process improvements across maintenance groups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• UA Trainer Certified.
• SIDA badge.
• RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
• 3+ years of aviation experience.
• Subject Matter Expert in respective area.
• Completed overview training for all groups within the department.
• Ability to lead, direct & organize group projects.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of aircraft configuration data.
• Audit and maintain mainframe forecasts and tracking systems.
• Ensure all transactions result in compliant maintenance records and status reports.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies within group scope.
• Communicate technical information from manuals to manage control programs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive change management.
• Manage daily assignments and project work to ensure reliability of maintenance processes.
• Remain travel-ready for up to 15% business travel and international assignments.
• Train colleagues on established processes (DOP/SOP).
• Maintain training records and report progress to management.
• Present Configuration Management training to new hires and other groups.
