Job summary

United Airlines in Houston is seeking a Senior Analyst – Configuration Management to ensure aircraft configuration data integrity and regulatory compliance across assigned fleets. You will maintain mainframe forecasts and tracking systems, produce complete maintenance records, and support audit readiness across the organization.

The role requires 3+ years of aviation experience, RCA and SIDA credentials, and the ability to train colleagues on standard procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant aviation experience.
• RCA and SIDA badge are required; UA Trainer Certification is a plus.
• Ability to lead, direct and organize group projects is essential.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain procedures for accurate aircraft configuration data in line with FAA and internal policies.
• Oversee establishment, auditing and accuracy of mainframe forecasts and tracking systems.
• Ensure complete, compliant maintenance records and status reports meeting retention requirements.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and communicate technical information clearly.
• Train colleagues on established processes and oversee change management.
• Maintain on‑call availability and travel‑readiness up to 15% travel including international assignments.
• Distribute workload effectively and manage daily assignments andProjects as needed.
