Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Senior Analyst – Technical Records to implement procedures, maintain mainframe tracking, and ensure compliance with FAA, GMM, and internal policies. The role focuses on accurate record-keeping, lifecycle tracking, and training our teams in standard operating procedures.

You will also lead process improvements, handle daily tasks and larger projects, and support audits with meticulous attention to accuracy and timeliness. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aviation experience.
• Ability to lead individual and group projects.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with FAA, GMM and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to analyst inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Translate manuals and technical documents into actionable control programs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive change management.
• Manage daily assignments and projects to ensure integrity of maintenance processes.
• Research life-limited parts, back-to-birth documentation, and traceability for assets.
• Train others on established processes and departmental procedures.
• Maintain training records and communicate progress to management.
• Present training materials to new hires and other groups as needed.
• Travel up to 15% and maintain a valid passport for international obligations.
