United Airlines is seeking an Associate Analyst to help manage the aircraft maintenance planning portfolio using data analytics and decision modeling. Lead cross-functional projects to optimize operations and support the long-term maintenance strategy.

You will develop long-term airframe maintenance plans, mine data, forecast scenarios, and perform cost-benefit analyses to improve aircraft utilization and reduce costs. This hybrid role is based in Chicago with three days in the office per week.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Completion of at least one internship in an airline-related field or 1+ year work experience in an analytical role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.

From assessing capacity environments to leading cross-functional projects, this role is integral to United’s long-term maintenance strategy.

• Develop and implement long-term airframe maintenance plans
• Conduct data mining, scenario forecasting, and modeling to minimize costs and enhance aircraft utilization
• Perform cost-benefit and impact analyses to inform maintenance strategies
• Track performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Assist in special projects for maintenance checks, modifications, and gear changes

NOTE: This position is based at the CSC-Willis Tower, located in Chicago, IL, and is considered a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office per week.

What Will Help You Propel from the Pack (Preferred Qualifications)

• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Spotfire)
• Knowledge of SQL/Python or other programming languages
• Project Management or Lean Six Sigma certification

The base pay range for this role is $53,960.00 to $70,334.00.
