The candidate will combine aircraft electrical theory with mechanical skills, lead field teams, and sign off on peer work. A DoD Secret clearance is required or obtainable, with a strong background in avionics, powerplant,

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of aircraft electrical theory and wiring troubleshooting.
• Experience with avionics systems integration and aircraft systems diagnostics.
• Combined airframe maintenance, powerplant troubleshooting, and mechanical component replacement.
• Mentoring junior technicians and guiding peers on complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and avionics components.
• Diagnose malfunctions in flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related assemblies.
• Provide data inputs for MEC/ECOD and support MWOs.
• Lead maintenance teams on complex electrical tasks and review peer work.
• Interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals for problem solving.
• Operate avionics test equipment and precision tools for integration tasks.
• Document maintenance actions in logs and records.
