Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Staff Air Vehicle Management Engineer (Level 5) to lead and coordinate the Modification Engineering team. The position supports aircraft modifications, ensuring technical execution and strong communication with program managers and clients.

The role requires active clearance, on-site work, and collaboration across multiple sites. Qualifications include a STEM degree with extensive experience in aircraft design, NX/CPLM tools, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master’s degree in STEM with 10 years; OR a Ph.D. with 8 years.

Responsibilities

Provide real-time engineering solutions during aircraft modifications.
Coordinate across design engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to resolve issues.
Manage stakeholder integration and coordinate technical modifications with engineers and customers.
Lead engineering groups and interface with management and customers.
Work on-site in Marietta, GA and Melbourne, FL as required.
Utilize 3D CAD tools to support detailed design tasks.
