Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an experienced Air Quality Project Manager to lead complex air quality permitting, compliance, and modeling projects nationwide. The role supports industrial and infrastructure clients with cutting-edge solutions, across borders and regulatory regimes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise with PSD/NSR/Title V and modeling platforms like AERMOD and CALPUFF. Ohio or other US office locations are acceptable.

Qualifications

• Experience in air quality permitting, regulatory compliance, and environmental consulting.
• Strong knowledge of PSD/NSR/Title V permitting and emissions inventories.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and profitability on complex projects.
• Advanced modeling experience using AERMOD and CALPUFF.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex air quality permitting, compliance, and modeling projects for industrial and energy clients nationwide.
• Manage project delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, resources, and risk.
• Serve as senior technical reviewer for air quality analyses and permit applications.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and client relationships across accounts.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
