DHL Global Forwarding in the United States seeks a Senior Business Development Manager – Air Freight to drive new business and grow existing accounts in the JFK and New Jersey territory. You will bridge clients and Deutsche Post DHL networks, using a consultative approach to understand customer needs and propose end-to-end air freight solutions.

Formación

• Minimum 3–5 years field sales in freight forwarding (air freight preferred).
• 5+ years of sales experience in international logistics; experience with logistics processes and systems.
• Solid PC skills with MS Office.
• Knowledge of international air and ocean freight.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Outgoing, upbeat personality with strong relationship skills.
• Ability to navigate a global network to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Win, retain and develop medium-sized business customers through hunting activity and profitable classifications.
• Maximize sales growth from existing customers with new strategies and targets in the territory.
• Build rapport with customers and collaborate with Product teams, Trade Lane Managers, other sales channels, and Station Management.
• Recommend solutions based on customer needs using industry knowledge.
• Organize and support customer workshops on topics like import compliance, new products, and training.
• Collaborate with Deutsche Post DHL sales channels to offer a full supply chain of services.
• Prepare RFI/RFP/RFQ materials and ensure proper handover to operations.
• Perform all sales activities and maintain CRM records daily.
