DHL Global Forwarding in Indianapolis is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the Air Freight product. You will identify prospects, assess needs, and tailor solutions to win new business while coordinating with regional resources.

The role offers a competitive base salary, incentives, and comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidates have 0-2 years in forwarding sales, strong presentation skills, and a hunter mindset to exceed KPIs.

Competenze

0-2 years sales experience in forwarding; AFR experience preferred.
Proficient with CRM and MS Office products.
Skilled at building rapport and fostering strong customer relationships; able to meet customers off-site.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation skills for complex deals and contracts.
Sense of urgency; adaptable to fast-paced environments.
Self-motivated and empowered to make quick decisions.
Persuasive and able to motivate action.

Identify and contact prospective customers, assess needs and match with products/services.
Seek opportunities for increased, profitable sales on new and existing accounts; present rate structures and service options.
