Job summary

Early Warning Services, LLC is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - AIOps to design, build, and operate the agent platform that enables AI agents to observe events, diagnose issues, and execute safe actions in production.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Technology Operations, Security, and Risk to establish reliable interfaces, guardrails, and instrumentation that support scalable automation in a regulated payments environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, AIOps, or a related discipline.
• Strong software engineering and distributed-systems design and pattern reasoning.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and operate the core agent runtime and tool interfaces.
• Define production controls for AI agent actions, including approvals and safety boundaries.
• Develop telemetry for logs, metrics, and traces across platforms.
• Package reusable agent capabilities for self-service adoption across teams.
