Early Warning is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - AIOps to design, implement, and operate the agent platform that powers AI-driven observability and automation across our production environments. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Security, and Risk to deliver scalable, reliable automation at scale.

The role emphasizes mature software engineering, distributed systems, and platform engineering, with significant emphasis on telemetry, governance, and safety controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Typically eight or more years of software engineering, platform engineering, or distributed systems experience.
• Proven ability to design maintainable, testable interfaces and manage risk in production systems.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and make guided decisions within standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and operate the core agent runtime and tool interfaces.
• Define and maintain auditable tool interfaces for automation across platforms.
• Build event-routing, telemetry, and evaluation capabilities for agent decisions.
