Job summary

Allied World is pursuing a data- and AI-driven underwriting transformation. You will shape the vision, roadmap, and OKRs for AI-enabled underwriting capabilities and shepherd them from discovery to production with governance and risk controls.

You’ll partner with underwriting, actuarial, claims and distribution to ship high-value AI use cases, translate needs into engineering-ready stories, and drive measurable business impact across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Product Owner/PM shipping Data/AI products in regulated enterprises.
• Deep P&C Insurance domain knowledge: underwriting, rate changes, loss ratios.
• Proven GenAI/ML/NLP delivery from POC to production at scale.
• Executive-grade communication; concise CIO briefings and user stories.
• Agile mastery with ruthless backlog and outcomes focus.
• Technical fluency: SQL, Python, Databricks/AWS/Azure, BI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product vision, roadmap, and OKRs for Data+AI underwriting.
• Identify high-value AI use cases with cross-functional partners.
• Lead full product lifecycle from discovery to adoption with pods.
• Orchestrate stakeholders; present progress in executive reviews.
• Champion Responsible AI: governance, explainability, data quality, compliance.
• Define adoption metrics and relentlessly track ROI.
