Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a Product Owner to bridge underwriting and technology, shaping workflows, data, and integration across product lines. You will drive backlog, define roadmaps, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable underwriting solutions for commercial P&C.

The role emphasizes hands-on solution shaping, prioritization, and governance, with a preference for experience in Now/Next/Later planning and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years as Product Owner, TPO, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years with Solartis, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco or similar platforms.
• 2–3 years in E&S insurance with underwriting focus preferred.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Experience with workflow-driven, platform-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead backlog management and prioritize work for underwriting tools.
• Define and communicate the underwriting roadmap and strategy.
• Translate requirements into user stories, criteria, and rules.
• Collaborate with engineers, data, and business stakeholders.
• Lead sprint planning, refinement, and acceptance testing.
• Shape workflows and prototype solutions with AI-assisted tools.
