Job summary

Allied World is seeking a highly motivated Tech Lead with deep Insurance domain expertise to drive AI-enabled SDLC initiatives and deliver enterprise-grade solutions. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of modern applications, leveraging Python, React, Node.js, AWS Serverless and cloud-native practices to improve speed, quality, and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering and application delivery experience.
• 5+ years in a Technical Lead, Solution Lead, or Engineering Lead capacity.
• Strong experience delivering complex enterprise solutions within P&C, Specialty, or Commercial Insurance.
• Proven experience leading global onshore/offshore delivery teams.
• Hands-on experience with modern software engineering practices and cloud-native development.
• AWS Serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) for cloud-native solutions.
• Modern application architecture and design, API-first and event-driven architectures, microservices.
• Cloud platforms (Azure preferred), CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Integration technologies and enterprise data patterns, database design and optimization, secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Application Development: Build and maintain full-stack apps using modern frameworks; adopt technologies including Python, React, Node.js, and AWS Serverless.
• Drive AI adoption throughout the SDLC to improve engineering productivity and solution quality; use AI tools for design and development.
• Vibe Coding & Rapid Innovation: create POCs, MVPs, prototypes with AI-enabled platforms; evaluate new technologies for business value.
• Promote fail-fast experimentation while maintaining enterprise-grade engineering standards.
