Job summary

Instacart is seeking a Senior Retail Solutions Sales Executive to lead end-to-end commercial motion for agentic AI solutions in grocery retail. You will own deal strategy, pricing, and multi-stakeholder negotiations to drive multi-year partnerships.

The role requires closing complex engagements, building a scalable commercial playbook, and maintaining disciplined deal processes across legal, finance, and security. Remote-first with occasional in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise sales with a track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
• Ability to structure and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements and terms.
• Experience coordinating across legal, finance, security, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen with VP-level+ retailer conversations.
• Comfort building a playbook in an early-stage commercial function.

Responsibilities

• Close multiple complex AI engagements from scoping through signed contracts.
• Own the commercial playbook: pricing frameworks, SOW templates, milestone models.
• Build credibility with retailer stakeholders at VP level and above.
• Ensure smooth internal deal processes (legal, finance, security, exec sign-off).
• Provide market intelligence back to AI Solutions leadership to inform pricing and GTM.
