Job summary

Fin, now part of Salesforce, is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to engage directly with customers as their trusted advisor, shaping value across the sales cycle and partnering with Product, R&D, and Engineering to ensure customer needs and insights are central to AI-powered solutions.

In this hybrid role based in the Greater Chicago Area, you will lead POCs, respond to RFPs, address security inquiries, and help build a best-in-class Solutions Engineering playbook while traveling occasionally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role.
• Strong technical acumen with experience in discovery and high-impact presentations.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.
• Proven time management skills in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into Fin solutions for diverse audiences.
• Experience partnering with product and engineering to capture customer feedback.
• Familiarity with POCs, RFPs, and security questions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery to identify and address customer needs.
• Deliver an exceptional pre-sales experience by articulating Fin's value and technical capabilities.
• Conduct value-based solution reviews and in-depth technical sessions.
• Design and lead tailored POCs showcasing Fin's capabilities.
• Manage RFPs and security questions with standardized materials.
