Job summary

Fin (now part of Salesforce) is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to bridge customer needs and product innovation. Based in San Francisco or Chicago, you’ll design and deliver high-impact AI solutions, working with R&D and GTM teams to ensure measurable business outcomes.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering and Sales, travel to client sites, and shape product direction while delivering real customer impact in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with real-world software usage.
• Interest in AI/ML and ability to learn new problems quickly.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level language (JavaScript, Python, or Ruby).

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Fin by helping customers unlock the power of our AI capabilities to automate and scale their support operations.
• Embed deeply with strategic customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements, and provide the insight needed to achieve outstanding results with Fin.
• Work hands-on with customers’ technical teams as a trusted technical expert, coding side-by-side to drive projects through to completion.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Success and Product teams to ensure seamless customer experiences, successful project delivery and actionable product feedback.
• Contribute to the evolution of Forward Deployed Engineering by codifying best practices and sharing insights from customer engagements to help the team scale and grow.
