Job summary

Fin, now part of Salesforce, is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to bridge customer needs and product innovation. You will work hands-on with strategic customers, partnering with R&D and GTM to deliver high-impact AI solutions and shape product direction.

You’ll travel to customer sites, code alongside client teams, and influence roadmap decisions while delivering measurable business outcomes. This role blends technical excellence with direct customer impact.

Qualifications

• Experience building a SaaS product with real-world usage.
• Interest in AI/ML and ability to quickly understand novel problems and architectures.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to navigate organizational boundaries.
• Ability to prototype and ship software quickly with a high bar for quality and clear business outcomes.
• Proficiency in using and writing REST APIs to integrate systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Fin by helping prospects unlock the power of our AI capabilities to automate and scale their support operations.
• Embed deeply with strategic customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements.
• Work hands-on with customers’ technical teams as a trusted technical expert.
• Collaborate with Sales, Success, and Product teams to ensure seamless experiences and actionable feedback.
• Codify best practices and help the team scale and grow.
