Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Engineer for the Nonprofits segment. You will translate nonprofit goals into Salesforce solution demos, map requirements to platform capabilities, and articulate the business value of AI-powered CRM initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years in a fast-paced environment, familiarity with Salesforce admin tasks, and strong communication skills to engage leaders and engineers alike. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional work experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector or software industry.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, agile company environment.
• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Previous Salesforce Administrator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Discover and analyze customer goals, mapping them to the Salesforce solution portfolio.
• Earn the "technical win" through compelling demos and presentations.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
• Research and develop technical Points of View aligned with industry knowledge.
• Design innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Present customized, story-driven demos tied to business value using AI tooling.
• Build and maintain relationships with the sales team and account contacts.
• Feed customer requirements back to product and engineering teams.
• Participate in ongoing training and certifications.
• Travel domestically up to 20%.
