Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and deployment of cloud-native, AI-powered healthcare solutions. This role combines hands-on leadership with collaboration across Product, Architecture, Engineering, Data and Business teams to translate ideas into scalable, production-ready platforms.

The ideal candidate has deep AI and cloud architecture expertise, understanding healthcare workflows, and the business sense to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering and architecture roles (technical lead, solution architect, enterprise architect).
• 5+ years of full stack development experience.
• 5+ years of SQL/NoSQL experience (MongoDB, Redis, etc).
• 3+ years hands-on AI/ML or Generative AI experience.
• Strong cloud platform experience (GCP/AWS) and microservices/APIs.
• Java, Python, Spring Boot and front-end frameworks (Angular/JS).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, and execute end-to-end AI-enabled strategic solutions aligned with project objectives.
• Lead and supervise architectural initiatives within projects or areas.
• Develop architectural designs and solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior and senior architects in tasks and skill development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective architectural solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand needs and drive alignment with business and development teams.
• Assess new technologies and methods to enhance processes and adoption where applicable.
• Lead architecture design reviews and guide modernization opportunities for Healthcare BU.
