Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of cloud-native, AI-powered healthcare solutions. This role requires hands-on technology leadership across Product, Architecture, Engineering, Data, and Business teams to transform ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions.

The ideal candidate will have AI and cloud architecture expertise, healthcare domain knowledge, and business acumen, guiding product strategy, defining solution

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering and architecture roles.
• Strong ability to meet non-functional requirements (SLA, latency, real-time).
• 5+ years of full stack development.
• 5+ years SQL/NoSQL, MongoDB, Redis experience.
• 5+ years in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), microservices and API design.
• 3+ years hands-on AI/ML or Generative AI.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Git) and Kafka.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Spring Boot, and Angular/JavaScript.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, and deliver end-to-end AI-enabled solutions aligned with objectives.
• Lead and supervise architectural initiatives within projects or areas.
• Develop architectural designs adhering to standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior and senior architects in project tasks and skill development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective architectures.
• Communicate with stakeholders to align business needs with development.
• Evaluate new technologies and adoption opportunities where applicable.
• Lead architecture design reviews and guide design changes across initiatives.
