Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Denver is seeking a hands-on Applied AI Solutions Architect to accelerate customer adoption of Amazon Connect's AI capabilities.

You will embed with customers to prepare production deployments and lead data readiness, model selection, and tool integration. You will pair-program with customer engineers, design prompts, configure MCP servers, and enable agent-to-agent workflows across enterprise systems, including Lambda, API Gateway, and data connectors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and/or A2A (Agent-to-Agent) patterns.
• Experience with AI/ML concepts including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with customer teams and translate findings into actionable implementation plans.
• Conduct data readiness assessments and identify remediation strategies for AI agent data foundations.
• Design and configure agentic AI solutions within Amazon Connect, including AI agent creation, prompts, and model selection.
• Design and deploy MCP servers exposing tools, data sources, and APIs for dynamic agent tool invocation.
• Architect Agent-to-Agent communication patterns across the enterprise to enable multi-agent workflows.
• Build serverless integrations using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions to connect AI agents with customer data systems.
• Architect secure data access patterns to power AI agent tool use and RAG from cloud data stores.
• Guide customers through pre-production validation against defined success criteria.
