Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a hands-on Applied AI Solutions Architect to accelerate customer adoption of Amazon Connect AI capabilities. You will be embedded with customers, guiding model selection, prompt configuration, and tool integration to production readiness.

You will write code, build integrations, configure agents, and pair-program with customer engineering teams, traveling up to 25%–40% for on-site engagements. This role lives at the intersection of contact centers and applied AI.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technology domain experience
• 3+ years of design/implementation in applications/infrastructures
• Familiarity with MCP/A2A protocols
• Demonstrated AI/ML concepts including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand requirements and AI readiness.
• Assess data readiness of CRMs, knowledge bases and ticketing systems.
• Design and configure agentic AI solutions within Amazon Connect.
• Design and deploy MCP servers exposing tools and APIs.
• Architect A2A communication patterns for multi-agent workflows.
• Build serverless integrations using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and scripting.
• Architect secure access patterns to cloud data systems for Bedrock.
• Guide customers through pre-production validation before deployment.
• Create reusable artifacts to scale best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with Connect and Bedrock product teams on roadmaps.
