Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an Applied AI Solutions specialist solutions architect for Amazon Connect to accelerate customer adoption of AI capabilities. You will lead discovery sessions, assess data readiness, design agentic AI solutions, and architect multi-agent workflows across enterprise systems.

You will build serverless integrations, ensure secure data access, and guide customers through pre-production validation while mentoring others in agentic AI patterns.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Knowledge of database design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with customer teams to understand business requirements, existing contact center architecture, and AI readiness.
• Conduct data readiness assessments to evaluate quality, accessibility, structure, and governance of customer data assets.
• Design and configure agentic AI solutions within Amazon Connect, including AI agent creation and prompt engineering.
• Architect Agent-to-Agent communication patterns for multi-agent workflows across the enterprise.
• Build serverless integrations using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions and scripting to connect AI agents with data systems.
• Architect secure access patterns to cloud-based data systems powering AI agent tool use and RAG.
• Leverage agentic development environments to accelerate development workflows and AI-assisted code generation.
• Guide customers through testing, evaluation, and validation of AI agent performance before production deployment.
• Share learnings through technical deep-dives and mentor other SAs on agentic AI implementation patterns.
