Job summary

Gilead is seeking a Senior Manager, Data/AI Solution Architect to drive the company’s enterprise AI strategy. The role focuses on designing and delivering AI and data solutions across HR, Compliance, and Legal functions from Foster City, CA.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration, build scalable models, and ensure governance and privacy standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data engineering and AI/ML, with hands-on experience in regulated industries and cloud platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years or Master's with 6+ years in data engineering, AI/ML, or related fields.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with large-scale knowledge bases, cloud AI platforms (AWS), MLOps, and regulated industries such as pharma or biotech.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and product owners to design and deliver AI/data solutions across HR, Compliance and Legal functions.
• Develop scalable AI models and retrieval-augmented knowledge bases.
• Automate document review workflows and engineer secure data pipelines.
• Oversee solution deployment through engineering teams and vendors.
• Establish evaluation frameworks and ensure data privacy/responsible AI compliance.
• Implement MLOps practices for monitoring and model improvement.
