Job summary

Gilead Sciences seeks a Senior Director, Applied AI Solutions within the Clinical Data Science (CDS) organization to lead the applied AI function across clinical research workflows.

You will translate priorities into multi-year AI roadmaps, design enterprise-grade AI solutions (models, agents, RAG, semantic search, and knowledge graphs), establish engineering standards, ensure responsible AI, and drive adoption while leading a multidisciplinary AI team in a hybrid/on-site setting.

Qualifications

• 14+ years in computer science, engineering, or data science with leadership in AI/ML
• Deep knowledge of foundation models and enterprise AI standards
• Experience in regulated environments and clinical contexts
