Credence is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI-driven solutions for federal clients. You will lead the development of generative AI, LLM-powered apps, and agentic AI systems across cross-functional teams while guiding technical direction and mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required; CI poly preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, AI/ML, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering with AI/ML in production.
• Experience delivering generative AI, LLM apps, or retrieval use cases.
• Experience designing agentic AI solutions with cited frameworks/tools.
• Strong knowledge of OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock, Vertex AI.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and libraries like Nx, Next.js, Mastra, Vercel AI SDK.
• Python proficiency with libraries such as uvicorn, Pydantic, FastAPI, LangChain.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, prototype, and deploy AI-powered capabilities.
• Own end-to-end agentic AI lifecycles and tool calling.
• Lead software engineering with code reviews and patterns.
• Collaborate with data, cloud, and mission stakeholders.
• Automate deployments with IaC, CI/CD, containers, cloud services.
• Monitor performance and optimize AI systems post deployment.
• Document code and engineering practices; mentor engineers.
