Credence is seeking a Mid-Level AI Data Engineer to anchor our AI/Automation practice. You will build data-driven solutions for generative AI and LLM workloads, collaborating across engineering, data science, and stakeholders to deliver cloud-native capabilities that support federal missions.

You will work under mentorship from senior AI leaders, advancing agentic AI development lifecycles, governance, and scalable deployment practices in a government-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Data pipelines for generative AI and LLM workflows.
• Experience with data lake/warehouse design and data quality.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases at scale.
• Collaborative engineering with data scientists and software engineers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and IaC practices.
• Documentation and reproducible development practices.
• Mentorship and technical design participation.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize data pipelines for generative AI and LLM usage.
• Manage data lake/warehouse across cloud platforms with Bronze/Silver/Gold layers.
• Model, query, and load large datasets across SQL/NoSQL stores.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and data scientists.
• Automate model deployment workflows using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor AI systems post-deployment and optimize performance.
• Write clean, well-documented code following guidelines.
• Engage in mentorship and technical design reviews.
