Job summary

Credence seeks a Senior AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI-driven solutions for federal clients. You will lead generative AI initiatives, architect scalable systems, and mentor engineers across cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with data, cloud, and mission stakeholders to deliver secure AI capabilities, while advancing engineering practices and ensuring rigorous documentation and governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including AI/ML or LLM-powered solutions.
• Experience delivering generative AI applications in production-like environments.
• Experience designing agentic AI solutions and using relevant frameworks.
• Strong understanding of major AI APIs and model platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock, Vertex).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, prototyping, and deployment of AI-powered capabilities using generative AI and LLMs.
• Own end-to-end agentic AI development lifecycles, including tool calling and orchestration.
• Apply software engineering best practices to create scalable, secure systems and mentor engineers.
