Job summary

Credence Management Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions for federal clients, including generative AI and LLM-powered applications. You will lead technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate across engineering, data, and cloud teams to deliver secure, scalable AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required (CI poly preferred).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience delivering AI/ML/LLM solutions.
• Experience building generative AI apps with LLMs and tool calling.
• Experience designing agentic AI solutions using relevant frameworks (Agent2Agent, Bedrock Agents, Mastra, CrewAI, LangChain).
• Strong knowledge of AI APIs and platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock, Vertex AI).
• Proficiency in TypeScript with Nx/Next.js; familiarity with Mastra, Vercel AI SDK, Playwright, Jest, Vite.
• Python proficiency with libraries like Pydantic, FastAPI, LangChain, LangGraph.
• Strong communication and client-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI).
• Experience with VS Code and AI extensions (Claude, etc.).
• Curiosity about emerging AI technologies with responsible innovation.

Responsibilities

• Generative AI & LLM Solution Delivery: design and prototype AI-powered capabilities with secure API integrations.
• Agentic AI System Development: end-to-end agentic AI lifecycles including tool calling and deployment of reliable agents.
• Senior Software Engineering Leadership: apply software engineering principles, code reviews, and pattern establishment.
• Cross-Functional Technical Collaboration: partner with data/cloud/engineering teams to translate needs into AI solutions.
• Cloud Enablement & DevSecOps Integration: IaC, CI/CD, containers, cloud-native services for scalable AI delivery.
• Production Monitoring & Optimization: monitor post-deployment, tune performance, ensure reliability.
• Technical Rigor & Documentation: write clear, well-documented code per guidelines.
• Technical Mentorship & Continuous Improvement: mentor engineers and contribute to standards and reviews.
