Job summary

Thomson Reuters seeks a Senior Software Engineer, AI to build AI-driven software for professionals via CLEAR, supporting retrieval-augmented generation, autonomous agents, and robust APIs. You will own full-stack features across gateways, microservices, and UIs, partnering with leads to deliver enterprise-scale AI capabilities.

You will work with Java/Spring Boot, Python ML frameworks, AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, and modern front-end tech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with 2+ years building production AI/ML features (RAG/LLMs/agents).
• Experience across lifecycle: discovery, architecture, tooling, deployment, operations, metrics.
• Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot and Python with ML frameworks; AWS experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI-driven systems with multi-component pipelines and RAG architectures.
• Explore new AI techniques and contribute to feasibility for AI-driven features.
• Provide technical depth, mentor engineers, and improve MLOps/LLMOps practices.
• Ensure quality, security, and governance for AI models in production.
• Collaborate with researchers, design, and product to optimize performance.
