Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Lead Software Engineer, AI to architect and deliver enterprise-scale AI systems for the CLEAR platform. You will drive AI-driven architectures, orchestration, and integration across APIs, gateways, and modern web UIs.

The role emphasizes leadership, governance, and scalable ML model lifecycles. You will mentor teams, apply MLOps practices, evaluate new AI techniques, and partner with product and research to push the boundaries of AI-enabled legal, tax, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering with at least 4 years in AI/ML lead roles.
• Experience with Generative AI, RAG or LLMs and enterprise-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise AI systems, including multi-component pipelines and RAG architectures.
• Oversee AI feature feasibility, stay current with AI research, and translate insights into roadmaps.
