Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - AI to build backend services enabling AI agents and scalable workflows for international products. You will work with Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL to support real-time AI interactions and large data flows, while collaborating with Labs and product teams to ship production-ready features for legal professionals globally.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and shipping production backend systems, APIs, and microservices.
• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud services.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying agentic AI workflows at scale.
• Ability to deliver production‑ready, reliable systems with strong debugging.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered backend systems and real-time interactions.
