Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI, to build AI-enabled systems, focusing on AI orchestration, RAG pipelines, and enterprise-grade web UIs. You will work across gateways, microservices, and front-end layers with leading AI techniques in a fast-paced environment.

You will apply deep AI knowledge from research to production, mentor peers, and uphold security, ethics, and governance for AI models while collaborating with researchers and product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with AI/ML or GenAI features.
• Experience across lifecycle: discovery, architecture, deployment, operations, and metrics.
• Backend APIs, microservices, RESTful APIs, and API gateways; web security.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI-driven systems including multi-component pipelines and RAG architectures.
• Explore and apply emerging AI practices and feasibility studies.
• Provide technical depth, mentor engineers, and improve MLOps/LLMOps practices.
• Ensure testing, monitoring, and observability; governance for AI models.
