Cribl is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Security Products team to build next‑generation AI SOC capabilities. This fully remote role focuses on post‑detection automation, autonomous reasoning, and multi‑agent investigation frameworks that operate at machine speed.

You will design and implement reasoning engines, context graphs, and safe execution trails while working with Cribl Detect to ingest signals and drive investigations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years building scale production software.
• Leading engineering initiatives in AI SOC or post‑detection automation.
• Experience with LLM orchestration, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Architect post‑detection workflows including autonomous triage and containment.
• Build production-grade reasoning systems using LLMs and context graphs.
• Collaborate with Cribl Detect to ingest signals and trigger investigations.
• Explore agentic paradigms with multi‑agent prototypes.
• Write core abstractions, protocols, and benchmarks for latency and accuracy.
• Provide safe execution frameworks with transparent reasoning trails and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Lead architecture reviews and mentor engineers.
