Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to embed with AWS Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) delivery teams. You will own the security posture of production AI systems deployed with customers, performing security reviews, threat modeling, and building scalable security tooling.

You will work across CI/CD gates, data isolation, and AI-specific threat mitigation. You will move quickly with customer teams, delivering fixes and re-usable security patterns, while ensuring

Qualifications

5+ years of security-related engineering experience.
Experience with threat modeling and architecture reviews.
Experience with security in cloud environments (AWS).

Responsibilities

Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, and architecture assessments for production AI systems.
Embed with FDE delivery teams; assess infrastructure security posture and implement controls.
Build security automation and tooling for forward-deployed AI systems.
Implement controls for AI-specific threats: prompt injection, data isolation, model endpoint hardening.
Integrate security into CI/CD, secrets management, dependency scanning, container security.
Triage and respond to security incidents in production AI systems and monitor AI-specific signals.
Document solutions as reusable patterns and playbooks.
