Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Senior Security Engineer for AWS Forward Deployed Engineering in the Dallas area. You will embed with FDE teams, own security posture of production AI systems, perform threat modeling, security reviews, and build scalable automation to protect customer deployments.

You will implement AI-specific controls, CI/CD security gates, and data isolation, while traveling up to 25% to support customer environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience across security frameworks, IAM, IR, mobile, cloud and AI security.
• 5+ years identifying security issues and developing mitigations.
• 4+ years scripting, programming, and security code review in common languages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, and architecture assessments for production AI systems.
• Embed with delivery teams to assess security posture and implement controls while maintaining velocity.
• Build security automation and tooling for forward-deployed AI systems and reusable accelerators.
• Implement controls for AI-specific threats: prompt injection, data isolation, model endpoint hardening.
