Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Security Engineer to embed with Forward Deployed Engineering teams and own the security posture of production AI systems deployed at customer sites.

You will conduct security reviews, threat modeling, and build automation to secure AI/ML pipelines end-to-end, while maintaining rapid delivery and strong collaboration with customer security teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security design, threat modeling, architecture reviews, and incident response.
• 5+ years identifying security issues and developing mitigation plans.
• 4+ years scripting and security code review in common languages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, and architecture assessments for production AI systems.
• Embed with FDE delivery teams in customer environments; assess security posture and implement controls.
• Build security automation and tooling: scanning, testing, monitoring for forward-deployed AI systems; create reusable accelerators.
• Implement controls for AI-specific threats: prompt injection, endpoint hardening, data protection.
