Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to embed with AWS Forward Deployed Engineering delivery teams and own the security posture of production AI systems deployed in customer environments.

You will conduct security reviews, perform threat modeling, build security automation, and ensure every FDE-delivered system meets AWS and customer security standards while maintaining rapid delivery velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application security frameworks, access controls, incident response, cloud security, AI security, and threat intel.
• 5+ years identifying security issues and risk with mitigation plans.
• 4+ years scripting, programming and security code review in common languages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, and architecture assessments for production AI systems.
• Embed with FDE delivery teams; assess security posture, identify gaps, and implement controls.
• Build security automation and reusable tooling for forward-deployed AI systems.
• Implement AI-specific threat controls: prompt injection, data protection, model endpoint hardening.
• Integrate security into FDE workflows: CI/CD gates, secrets management, dependency scanning.
• Triage security incidents in production AI systems and monitor AI-specific signals.
• Document solutions as reusable patterns and playbooks.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
