Job summary

Compass is embedding generative and agentic AI directly into the products our agents and clients use every day. This role owns the security of that surface, serving as the technical authority on how Compass builds AI features safely, from model and retrieval to client-facing outputs.

You will work with AI platform and product teams to define security standards, implement real-time protections, threat modeling, and guardrails for multi-agent workflows, with a focus on preventing data leakage and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of security engineering experience, focusing on AI/LLM security.
• Experience securing production AI/ML systems end-to-end.
• Hands-on red teaming experience and adversarial ML knowledge.
• Strong cloud security fundamentals (AWS or GCP, IAM, Kubernetes).
• Ability to threat model complex distributed AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI product security roadmap and standards.
• Perform threat modeling for AI features and pipelines.
• Build production guardrails for LLM inputs/outputs and data exfiltration checks.
• Design controls for autonomous agents and audit trails.
• Secure the retrieval layer and data access controls.
