Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program. Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, this leader will define the strategy to secure AI technologies while enabling responsible innovation across the enterprise.

The role leads a team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, partnering with executive teams to implement secure AI at scale. Travel is required 10–20%.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership.
• 3+ years designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML.
• 2+ years in cloud security configuration and management (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• 5+ years leading security architecture or engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage risk and regulatory compliance for AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, and secure development requirements for AI technologies.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance, third-party assessments, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring, mentoring, budgeting, and execution.
• Partner with leaders to securely enable enterprise AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and security assessments for AI initiatives.
• Monitor emerging AI threats and regulatory developments, adjusting strategy accordingly.
