Job summary

Programmers.io seeks a Senior/Principal AI Security Architect to define the enterprise AI security architecture and governance across AI/ML platforms, LLMs, agentic AI systems, cloud environments, and enterprise applications.

In this role you will establish secure AI standards, reference architectures, guardrails, IAM and Zero Trust controls, and lead security reviews of AI products and vendor tools, while mentoring engineering teams on secure AI design and implementation.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Security Architecture or Enterprise Architecture experience.
• AI/ML Security, Generative AI, Agentic AI Security.
• MLOps, Data Pipelines, Model Training & Serving Security.
• Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Zero Trust Architecture.
• AI Governance & Risk Management.
• NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10.
• Data Privacy & Regulatory Compliance.
• Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise AI security architecture, standards, and best practices.
• Design secure AI/ML and Generative AI adoption frameworks.
• Lead security architecture reviews for AI products, platforms, and vendor tools.
• Create AI guardrails, output validation mechanisms, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Establish Identity & Access Management (IAM), Zero Trust, and network security standards for AI environments.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
• Evaluate emerging AI security threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Drive AI governance initiatives aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and OWASP LLM Top 10.
• Mentor engineering teams on secure AI design and implementation.
