Job summary

Affirm is seeking a seasoned Security Engineer to lead enterprise AI/LLM security review processes, evaluating architecture, data flows, and tool configurations. You will embed security requirements during design, model risks, and drive remediation across Security, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, IT, and Engineering.

Required are hands-on security architecture, threat modeling, and experience with IAM, OAuth2, SAML, and cloud services (AWS, Terraform).

Qualifications

• Seasoned security engineer with hands-on experience designing and maintaining security architecture for AI/LLM systems.
• Strong threat-modeling fundamentals, including security controls for agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI security review processes evaluating architecture and data flows.
• Threat-model AI/LLM systems and drive remediation of risks.
• Review source code and tool configurations, and help build security-focused test cases.
