Job summary

Affirm is seeking a senior security engineer to own and evolve the end-to-end security review process for enterprise AI/LLM systems, evaluating architecture, data flows, and tool configurations.

You will partner across Security, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, IT, and Engineering to implement guardrails, threat modeling, and policy-as-code, driving risk-based decisions and scalable controls.

Qualifications

• Seasoned security engineer with hands-on experience designing, evaluating, and maintaining AI/LLM security architecture.
• Experience threat modeling AI/LLM apps and securing agentic systems and tool-calling frameworks (MCP, OAauth2/SAML).
• Built governance artifacts and evaluated AI capabilities within SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI security review process for architecture, data flows, permissions, and design of AI tools and MCP servers.
• Threat model AI/LLM systems and data flows; drive remediation for risks like prompt injection and data exposure.
• Review source code, prompts, agent configurations, and tool manifests; help owners build security-focused test cases.
