Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior security engineer to lead AI/LLM security reviews, threat modeling, and governance. You will shape end-to-end security controls for enterprise AI, collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and IT, and help design scalable guardrails and testing frameworks.

You will evaluate vendor SaaS risks, craft policy-as-code controls, and stay current on OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS to implement practical protections.

Qualifications

• Seasoned security engineer with hands-on AI/LLM security design experience.
• Practical experience threat modeling and securing agentic systems.
• Experience with enterprise security controls and governance artifacts.
• Familiarity with SaaS vendor security reviews and IAM for non-human identities.
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve enterprise AI security review process for architecture, data flows, and guardrails.
• Threat model AI/LLM systems and drive remediation for identified risks.
• Review source code, prompts, configurations, and tool manifests; build security test cases.
• Design guardrails and policy-as-code to enforce AI security across systems.
• Evaluate third-party SaaS vendors as part of risk-based adoption decisions.
• Identify new AI/agentic vulnerabilities and contribute to incident response playbooks.
• Lead cross-functional security initiatives and communicate with technical and executive audiences.
